As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family and employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage and provide safe nursing care 24/7.
- Participate in the interview process for nursing vacancies and assess the performance of existing employees.
- Identify educational needs of staff and communicate with the Nurse Practice Educator to address them.
- Ensure patient care assignments are consistent with staff competencies, scope of practice, and patient needs.
- Support the Director of Nursing in employing a strong Quality Improvement process for the nursing department.
- Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
- Competitive pay rate of $34 - $37 per hour.
- Full-time position with benefits.
