Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Operation: Stage materials for production, perform machine setup to specifications, adjust HMI settings, run, operate, and perform minor preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Production Monitoring: Maintain production on 2 lines, multitasking to monitor hopper levels, temperatures, vacuum pressures, etc.
- Quality Control: Examine and sample extruded products for defects and provide samples to the lab for testing.
- Materials Handling: Load product and material into the machine, monitor product flow and temperature, modify settings to ensure quality products, and perform material handling operations such as packaging, shipping, and receiving.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Attention to Detail: Accurately follow instructions and maintain high-quality standards.
- Multitasking Ability: Effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Bend, stoop, lift, and move up to 50 lbs throughout the shift and roll 700-1200 lbs wheels every 25 minutes.
