Senior Construction Estimator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Estimator to join our team at AEC National Recruiters. Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and train junior estimators to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial interior projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage the bid process from start to finish, including soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids.
  • Work closely with project managers to provide ongoing cost analysis and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial interiors in New York City.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of estimators.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
