Key Responsibilities- Act as a front-line representative of the unit, interacting with families and visitors to provide exceptional customer service.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
- Coordinate with the Unit Leader to maintain regulatory, safety, and infection prevention standards.
- Ensure the unit is well-supplied and equipment is available and functioning properly.
- Utilize support systems and resources to document patient status and flow.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date chart information in compliance with Health Information Services (HIS) requirements.
- Access secure medication locations to manage storage, handling, and disposal of medications.
- Proficiency in computer skills and customer service.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma (or GED) strongly preferred.
- Required licensure/certifications: None.
