Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a front-line representative of the unit, interacting with families and visitors to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
  • Coordinate with the Unit Leader to maintain regulatory, safety, and infection prevention standards.
  • Ensure the unit is well-supplied and equipment is available and functioning properly.
  • Utilize support systems and resources to document patient status and flow.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date chart information in compliance with Health Information Services (HIS) requirements.
  • Access secure medication locations to manage storage, handling, and disposal of medications.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in computer skills and customer service.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High school diploma (or GED) strongly preferred.
  • Required licensure/certifications: None.
