Parts Operations Manager

At Courage Kia, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for managing inventory and ensuring that all necessary parts and supplies are available for our production team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in parts management and possess strong technical automotive knowledge. You will be responsible for forecasting goals and objectives for the parts department, hiring, training, and monitoring the performance of all parts department staff, and maintaining inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work closely with our service manager and body shop manager to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forecast goals and objectives for the parts department
  • Hire, train, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff
  • Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments
  • Create pricing guidelines for customer categories
  • Monitor and adjust inventory as needed
  • Guarantee all parts are properly tagged
  • Supervise stock order procedures
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years experience in parts management
  • Technical automotive knowledge
  • Management experience and skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic understanding of inventory and reporting

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, as well as flexible working hours, health insurance, PTO, 401(K), and compensation for technical assistance when needed.
