Overview:
Engages in comprehensive planning, resource distribution, personnel development, and the monitoring of activities and objectives for the business unit and Outpatient Rehabilitation Services.
Accountable for the daily operations and supervision of the business unit.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily functions of the business unit, including appointment scheduling, patient registration, medical documentation, insurance verification, revenue capture, and billing processes.
- Involved in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of business personnel. Ensures staff competency and serves as a support resource for satellite office personnel.
- Conducts performance evaluations for business staff in collaboration with management and program coordinators as necessary.
- Develops and executes the annual budget in partnership with management, focusing on program and operational expenses.
- Facilitates system upgrades and the implementation of new products. Acts as a resource for outpatient staff regarding technological systems.
- Leads performance improvement initiatives and action plans as a member of the Performance Improvement Committee, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
- Identifies, assesses, and resolves operational challenges. Promotes work redesign efforts to enhance business operations.
- Aligns business functions with clinical requirements to fulfill the needs of all stakeholders.
- Meets all compliance obligations associated with the role.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Additional Information:
Required: Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum: Three years.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
Work Environment:
Manual: Requires significant manual skills and dexterity.
Occupational: Some exposure to occupational hazards.
Physical Demands:
Medium to heavy physical effort required, with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Physical Conditions:
Potential exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and other environmental factors.
