Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Emergency Operations and Risk Management Department as an Emergency Operations Coordinator. This role requires strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all emergency planning activities.
  • Develop and present training to employees on emergency topics, plans, and responses.
  • Maintain readiness of CCHC and emergency supplies at the administrative site.
  • Plan, design, and execute emergency response drills and exercises, and evaluate their efficacy.
  • Develop assessments to evaluate employees' readiness.
  • Create and deliver reports and presentations highlighting findings, identifying potential risks, and recommending solutions.
  • Develop and implement emergency operations efficiency projects.
  • Manage and maintain CCHC's Emergency Operation Plan.
  • Maintain logs for tracking emergency activities and incidents.
  • Complete after-action reports and follow-ups.
  • Travel to clinic locations as needed to conduct assessments and trainings.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and trainings as deemed necessary for the department.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (required).
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college/university in emergency management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).

Physical Demands

This role requires prolonged sitting at a computer, some bending, lifting, stooping, and stretching. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are necessary to operate a computer keyboard, photocopy machine, telephone, and other office equipment. Normal range of hearing and eyesight are also required.
