Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join the Gaming Devices + AI Engineering team at Microsoft Corporation. Responsibilities
  1. Test Requirements and Improvements: Develop and document test requirements and improvements for hardware designs, applying knowledge of moderately complex features and products.
  2. Verification Plans: Review verification plans to ensure current test equipment is suitable for measuring product technology features.
  3. Test Equipment: Advise on the purchase of new test equipment and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure test strategy is sound and meets constraints.
  4. Test Cases: Write design verification test cases using standard templates and test methodologies.
  5. Test Plans: Develop, review, and execute test plans for moderately complex feature areas or products.
  6. Automated Testing: Design and develop automated testing solutions and conduct automated testing on moderately complex feature areas or products.
  7. Testing and Quality Metrics: Create dashboards or reports for testing and quality metrics based on available data.
  8. Problem Identification: Use data/statistical analyses to identify complex problems or flaws that may affect feature or product design changes.
