Job Overview

Andrews Cooper Technology LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Redmond, Washington. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex mechanical systems and products for our clients in the Pacific Northwest.

We are looking for a talented engineer who can lead technical teams and projects, and has experience with electro-mechanical or mechanical design. You will be working with a variety of CAD tools, including SolidWorks, NX, Pro/E, CoCreate, and Creo. Additionally, you will have experience with plastic injection moldings and high-volume manufacturing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex mechanical systems and products
  • Lead technical teams and projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies

Requirements:

  • BSME required; MSME a plus
  • 8+ years of professional hands-on electro-mechanical or mechanical design experience
  • Experience with leading technical teams and projects
  • Proficiency with general ME CAD tools: SolidWorks, NX, Pro/E, CoCreate, or Creo
  • Experience with plastic injection moldings and high-volume manufacturing techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industrial-level working knowledge in material properties
  • Knowledge and application of GD&T techniques
  • Experience with optics integration into products
  • Expertise working with overseas vendors
  • Testing and analysis experience
