Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Inspector plays a crucial role at Jahabow, responsible for conducting both in-process and final inspections of assemblies and sub-assemblies. This position also involves the inspection of incoming materials used in production, ensuring that all manufactured products meet customer expectations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections, checks, and tests to uphold quality standards in product manufacturing.
  • Utilize knowledge of standard practices and procedures relevant to the manufacturing field.
  • Exercise independent judgment in performing job functions.
  • Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in problem-solving.
Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• An Associate degree in Math, Science, Communications, or Pre-Engineering is preferred. Technical school experience with a focus on manufacturing or mechanical trades is also acceptable.

Essential Skills
  • Strong communication skills to interact professionally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and test instructions.
  • Proficiency in using various inspection gauges and measuring equipment.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience with quality control tools, including calipers and pin gauges.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and digital image editing.
  • A keen eye for detail and defect identification.
  • 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.
