Job Title: Class A CDL Driver - Heavy Equipment Transport

Job Summary:

H&E Equipment Services is seeking a highly skilled Class A CDL Driver to transport heavy equipment to customer job sites in a safe and efficient manner. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for loading, securing, and delivering equipment to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely and safe transportation of equipment
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck, trailer, and securements are in good working condition
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed and accurate
  • Communicate effectively with customers and branch management to ensure smooth delivery and pickup of equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by branch management

Requirements:

  • Class A CDL with a valid medical certificate
  • One year of experience driving a combination tractor-trailer flatbed
  • Ability to use an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) and understand Hours of Service regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
