Housekeeping Houseperson Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Houseperson to join our team at Montage International. As a Houseperson, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove trash and linen from work areas and distribute supplies to designated areas
  • Report any linen shortages or discrepancies to management
  • Maintain storage and distribution areas, ensuring they are clean and organized
  • Distribute linen and supplies to guest rooms and floors
  • Deliver miscellaneous goods and supplies to guest rooms
  • Maintain cleanliness of guest corridors, including sweeping, washing, and dusting
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel industry preferred
Physical Requirements:

The Houseperson must be able to stand and exert well-placed mobility for up to 7 hours, push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs, and bend, squat, and lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.

The pay scale for the Housekeeping Houseperson position is $22.00 per hour. We are an equal opportunity employer and maintain a drug-free workplace, performing pre-employment substance abuse testing.
