Key Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant include but are not limited to:
  • Oversee all facets of general ledger accounting
  • Prepare account reconciliations and manage the monthly closing process
  • Investigate and resolve various accounting discrepancies as they arise, including issues related to depreciation, revenue accruals, accounts payable accruals, and intercompany transactions.
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with management, clarifying accounting requirements and priorities.
  • Manage closing schedules, notifying team members of impending deadlines for general ledger and subledger closes.
  • Engage in various project initiatives aimed at enhancing accounting processes for improved efficiency and financial transparency.
  • Assist with financial and tax audit inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
  • Experience in public accounting is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in the Real Estate sector is highly desirable
