Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

The Maintenance Supervisor is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the physical integrity of our residential communities. This role requires a strong leader who can manage and delegate tasks effectively, while also providing excellent customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Maintenance Requests: Respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Lead the Maintenance Team: Supervise and motivate a team of maintenance technicians to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Inspect and Oversee Work: Conduct regular inspections of maintenance work to ensure that it meets our high standards.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Keep accurate records of maintenance requests, work completed, and inventory levels.
  • Manage Budget: Manage the maintenance budget to ensure that we are operating within our means.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of tools and equipment.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • 5+ Years' Experience in Maintenance Property Management: Required.
  • NAA CAMT and EPA Universal Certifications: Required.
  • CPO Certifications: Preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve problems quickly.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry objects of up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders and stairs.
