Assistant Professor in Neuroscience

The Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College at Florida Atlantic University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Neuroscience. The successful candidate will teach introductory and advanced undergraduate courses and labs in behavioral neuroscience or cellular neuroscience, establish and manage an independent research program, direct honors theses, advise students, and engage in service.

The minimum qualification for the position is a PhD or MD/PhD in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biology, or a related field. The committee will view favorably evidence of excellence in undergraduate teaching, breadth and depth of teaching interests, and potential for collaboration in interdisciplinary teaching activities, as well as an independent and innovative program of research, including research interests that are accessible to undergraduate students and/or that synergize with existing areas of emphasis.
