Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Church & Dwight's Old Fort, OH facility. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products by conducting tests and analyses, inspecting production operations, and providing technical support to the Engineering Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine analyses, replicate testing, and reporting without direct supervision
  • Provide analytical and technical support to ensure personnel safety and proper equipment maintenance
  • Inspect bagging and packaging lines for product specifications, such as weight, date code, and proper equipment operations
  • Inspect all phases of plant production operations to ensure overall quality of finished product
  • Record all data obtained, using established formats and notation conventions
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and work area
  • Make written/verbal releases of tested materials to production or shipping supervision, according to established quality control policies
  • Compile summaries of test results for inclusion in regular departmental reporting
  • Participate in and lend support to the Quality Improvement Process
  • Familiar with the plant food safety program and basic HACCP principles
  • Assist with Preventative Maintenance on Lab equipment
  • Fluent in MS Office Suite
  • SAP experience preferred
Requirements
  • Minimum Associate's degree in Chemistry or related science field or relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related science field preferred
  • Manufacturing Lab Environment Experience preferred
  • Hands on Knowledge of GC, ICP, and HPLC equipment preferred
