Clinical Operations Coordinator

Cedars-Sinai is a leader in providing high-quality healthcare services. We are seeking an experienced Senior Patient Service Representative to join our team in Marina Del Rey and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care and advancing medical innovation.
About the Role:
This position involves managing patient relations, scheduling appointments, and performing administrative tasks with minimal direction. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, they should be able to coordinate various administrative support activities and establish strong relationships with peers, physicians, patients, and departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate patient check-in and checkout processes, including collecting co-payments and reconciling payments.* Schedule appointments and ensure accurate completion of patient registration.* Serve as a liaison between patients, family members, medical staff, administrative staff, insurance plans, and other departments.* Participate in daily huddles and staff meetings to improve partnerships and patient care.* Maintain accurate records and follow infection prevention standards and all department policies and procedures.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma or GED and at least three years of experience as a Patient Service Representative or Medical Assistant in an outpatient medical office setting. Strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, are essential for this role.
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $22.35-$33.53 per hour, depending on experience.
