Job Summary:The Radiology Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist our medical staff in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires technical expertise in operating x-ray equipment, ensuring accurate imaging, maintaining patient safety, and adhering to all medical and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities:- Develop strong relationships with patients to understand their medical needs and concerns.
- Set up and operate x-ray equipment, adjusting immobilization devices and exposure settings to obtain high-quality images.
- Accurately document patient services and maintain detailed records.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with medical charting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
