Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Responsibilities

  • Assess Resident Needs: Identify the psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs of residents
  • Lead Mental Health Staff: Manage and educate mental health staff to ensure high-quality care
  • Develop Resident Care Plans: Collaborate with residents and staff to develop individualized care plans
  • Monitor Progress: Aid in the development of resident mental health progress and adjust care plans as needed

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of documented experience in mental health and/or social services
  • Education: Master's degree in a mental health-related field or a PhD
  • Certifications: Crisis Prevention (CPI) certified preferred
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
