Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Responsibilities
- Assess Resident Needs: Identify the psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs of residents
- Lead Mental Health Staff: Manage and educate mental health staff to ensure high-quality care
- Develop Resident Care Plans: Collaborate with residents and staff to develop individualized care plans
- Monitor Progress: Aid in the development of resident mental health progress and adjust care plans as needed
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of documented experience in mental health and/or social services
- Education: Master's degree in a mental health-related field or a PhD
- Certifications: Crisis Prevention (CPI) certified preferred
- Skills: Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
