Asheville Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals recovering from addiction and alcoholism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
  • Client Support: Maintain regular contact with clients and their family members to ensure ongoing support and progress.
  • Group Facilitation: Lead and facilitate groups to promote client engagement and progress.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience in substance abuse treatment.
  • Certifications: LCAS, LCAS-A, or CADC certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teamwork: Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Active Listening: Excellent active listening and conflict resolution skills.
