Job Summary

The Rehabilitation Technician plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of patient care at OrthoIllinois. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment, assisting patients and clinicians, and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Clinicians with Patient Care: Provide support to treating clinicians during treatment programs, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Maintain Clinic Environment: Clean, sanitize, and organize the clinic, including therapeutic equipment, tables, and other tools.
  • Prepare Rooms for Procedures: Assist with preparing examination and treatment rooms for various clinic procedures.
  • Order and Stock Medical Supplies: Ensure that medical supplies are ordered and stocked in a timely manner to meet the needs of the clinic.
  • Organize and Maintain Files: Maintain various files, including evaluation folders, home programs, and business cards.
  • Dispose of Hazardous Waste: Properly dispose of hazardous waste and soiled materials following safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a therapy-related setting preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft and Google Suites required.
Working Conditions

This position is based in an office/clinic setting, requiring the ability to stand for long periods, walk, kneel, crawl, stoop, and climb stairs. The Rehabilitation Technician must also be able to lift, carry, or move heavier objects, and possess full range of motion in shoulders and arms.
