Position Overview

We are actively seeking skilled Instrument Technicians who possess excellent interpersonal abilities, can effectively communicate with both our team and clients, prioritize workplace safety, and are open to travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct calibration, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and perform field loop testing along with instrument configurations for commissioning and start-up support as directed by the supervisor or project leader.
  • Offer technical guidance to clients concerning the design, installation, repair, and safe operation of equipment and systems.
  • Report directly to the instrument supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • A 2-Year Technical Degree or an Associate Degree in Instrumentation or Electronic Technology, complemented by experience in the Instrumentation field or an equivalent Military Electronics Program. A minimum of 2 years of relevant field experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting interconnection diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), loop sheets, and schematics.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electronic and pneumatic equipment, as well as advanced analytical and laboratory instruments.
  • Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with computers, software applications, computerized control systems, and interfacing instrument control systems.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.
  • Physically capable of working at heights, in confined spaces, and under various outdoor weather conditions, as well as in high noise environments (with appropriate PPE). Must also be able to read small print, distinguish colors, and possess good manual dexterity and coordination.
  • Demonstrated strengths in self-motivation, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, dependability, and innovation.
  • Commitment to adhering to and promoting safety practices.
  • Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies.
  • Ability to utilize instrumentation testing equipment and hand/power tools.
