Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the successful execution of intricate EMR Migration and Data Archiving Solutions within the ELLKAY product suite.
  • Provide guidance and support to the project team by coaching, mentoring, and inspiring team members to achieve project objectives and adhere to their responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with clients to formulate a comprehensive data migration strategy, including defining goals, extraction plans, and validating migrated data.
  • Oversee all facets of multiple interconnected projects to ensure the overall success of client implementations.
  • Engage in creative and analytical problem-solving, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Own the full project life cycle: successful delivery will encompass complete implementation from initiation to deployment for one or more initiatives concurrently.
  • Manage daily project activities and resources, facilitating regular project status meetings with clients.
  • Act as a change agent, ensuring the adoption of new processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Exhibit a functional understanding of how solutions will meet client objectives.
  • Recognize interdependencies among technology, operations, and business requirements.
  • Set and manage realistic expectations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist team members in overcoming challenges and resolving issues through an escalation process.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, focusing on organizational goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships, establishing processes and documentation, and conducting training for team members.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for strategic vendor partnerships.
  • Drive innovation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain relationships with senior client contacts and other leadership to provide oversight for large client implementations.
  • Support new employee onboarding and training initiatives.
  • Evaluate and manage employee performance, conducting one-on-one meetings to monitor skills and motivation, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure team capacity is managed effectively, reallocating resources as necessary and forecasting future growth.
  • Conduct effective project and resource planning, organizing team roles and identifying the right talent to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Promote and cultivate a diverse, cohesive team to meet organizational objectives.
  • Develop relationships across the organization, actively listening to the needs of internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate with business team members during the pre-sales process, providing expertise and best practices on implementation and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated and decisive, with the ability to adapt to changing demands.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with individuals at all organizational levels and external contacts.
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience leading multiple large-scale and complex projects.
  • Background in data migration projects.
  • Knowledge of clinic or hospital-based applications and workflows.
  • Proven success in managing and delegating within a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in leading, motivating, and managing various project team sizes, including both internal and external resources, while holding the team accountable for performance.
  • Familiarity with different data types or formats (e.g., ANSI, HL7, XML, CSV, etc.).
Education/Training/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of related experience in the healthcare industry.
  • 5-7 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • PMP Certification is preferred.
