Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct clinical orthodontics and didactic courses, supervise residents in clinical settings, and manage the progression and outcomes of orthodontic cases in alignment with American Board of Orthodontics standards.
  • Engage in professional development, mentor research initiatives, pursue external funding opportunities, and ensure compliance with quality assurance, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations.
  • Collaborate with residents, interns, staff, and faculty to deliver exceptional patient care, work alongside the AEODO Program Director to oversee clinic operations, and participate in institutional committees and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must possess a DDS/DMD degree from a CODA accredited US or Canadian dental school or equivalent.
  • Eligibility for licensure in Nevada at the time of application is required, with licensure to be obtained within three months of hire.
  • Completion of a CODA-approved post-doctoral residency in orthodontics, coupled with teaching experience at the postdoctoral level and a strong record of scholarly activity.
