Capability Health and Human Services is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Early Intervention program. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with clients to develop or regain physical or mental functioning, implementing programs to improve motor delays, conditions, and other issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement therapy programs to address client needs, including initial evaluations and re-evaluations.
- Prepare reports and attend multidisciplinary case meetings to review treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical and administrative records, adhering to professional standards and state guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education to ensure best practice and meet licensure requirements.
- Collaborate with staff to achieve program goals and objectives.
- Initial certification by the National Board for Physical Therapy required.
- Current Physical Therapy License from the State of Nevada required.
- Minimum of two years of experience working with children, using knowledge of treatment practices per discipline required.
- CPR and First Aid certifications required.
- Valid driver's license required.
This position will require up to 80% travel within the service delivery area. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
This position will be out in the Reno area, working in various weather conditions. The employee must be able to adapt to changing environments and prioritize client needs.
