We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality laboratory testing and analysis to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing, including proficiency testing samples.
- Analyze patient results and complete required records/documentation.
- Assume responsibility of the department as needed, including performing stat procedures and quality control procedures.
- Demonstrate good judgment and independent thinking in the correlation and interpretation of patient results.
- Review pending logs and result logs, resolving any outstanding workload or communicating with staff relief.
- An Associate's Degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- A State of Florida Technologist License or the ability to obtain a license during the interview process.
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is beneficial.
