Job Summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an experienced professional to support the 300mm semiconductor process integration team in Malta, New York. The primary responsibility of this position is to assess and drive mitigation of risk for New Technology Development, New Product Designs, and Special Projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop feature-rich processes in various technologies, including FINFET, FDSOI, and eNVM.
  • Collaborate with process modules and Design Technology Enablement teams to drive process solutions.
  • Work with TSD and BU to oversee project scope and ensure technical needs are met.
  • Critically assess interactions of design layout, technology design-rules, and processes.
  • Assess interactions of new technology elements with current processes.
  • Interact successfully with external customers on technical subjects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years or Master's Degree with 3+ years or PhD with 2+ years of working experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience leading engineer teams, developing, and delivering advanced technology for mass production.
  • Strong project management skills, particularly focused on managing schedules, scope, and cost trade-offs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD with 9+ years of working experience in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the FEOL/BEOL process with FinFET and FDSOI technology.
  • Deep understanding of design rules, defect reduction, test site creation and validation, chip package interaction, and wafer-level reliability failure models.
What We Offer
