Job Summary:

BayCare Health System is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at Morton Plant Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver respiratory care services under the order of a physician and in accordance with established protocols.
  • Perform noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct diagnostic testing and provide emergency care/adult critical care.

Certifications and Licensures:

  • RRT (Respiratory Therapy License)
  • Active NBRC Credential for RRT
  • CPR/BLS (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • NRP (Neonatal) - within 6 months
  • ACLS (Cardiovascular) - within 6 months
  • PALS (Pediatric) - Preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Technical Respiratory Therapy
  • Associate's Respiratory Therapy - Preferred
  • 6 Months Respiratory Experience

Requirements:

  • NICU and Pediatric experience is preferred.
  • Clinical skills appropriate to position
  • Computer skills appropriate to position
  • Collaborate and work with a team
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Advanced Respiratory Assessment and Evaluations

Work Environment:
