We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Information Management (HIM) Manager to join our team at Ernest Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in coding and classification systems to healthcare providers throughout our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance and support to healthcare providers on coding and classification systems to ensure accurate and compliant billing and reimbursement.
- Develop and implement processes to improve the accuracy and efficiency of coding and data management.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of HIM department personnel to ensure high-quality work and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of HIM services and support.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in coding and classification systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to ensure our organization remains compliant and competitive.
- Minimum of 2 years of inpatient or outpatient coding experience.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding guidelines and other relevant classification systems.
- Certification via AHIMA or AAPC (CPC, CCS, CIC, RHIT, or RHIA).
