We are currently seeking a Retail Sales Associate for our location. This role is essential in delivering exceptional service to our clientele while supporting the management team as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and timely assistance to all customers upon their arrival at the retail outlet.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via telephone promptly and in accordance with company standards.
  • Offer knowledgeable guidance on all product lines and services available at the store.
  • Support store managers with external sales initiatives when necessary.
  • Identify customer needs through effective questioning and attentive listening.
  • Encourage additional purchases by assisting customers in completing their projects.
  • Engage actively in all training programs provided by the retail establishment.
  • Uphold merchandising standards as established by store and operational management, including product displays and promotional setups.
  • Participate in store operations, including stocking shelves and assisting customers with their purchases.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demonstrate punctuality, and adhere to attendance policies.
  • Contribute to daily housekeeping tasks, including interior and exterior maintenance and product organization.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to operational protocols.
  • Complete all opening and closing procedures with precision.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma.
  • Proven skills in customer service and negotiation.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the capability to multitask.

The role requires the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
