Wound Care Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide primary skincare to residents, identifying and managing skin disorders and wounds
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Educate residents, family members, and staff on wound prevention and management techniques
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance wound care outcomes
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing education program
- Illinois licensure as a licensed practical nurse
- Background check clearance
- One year of experience as a wound nurse, preferred
Compensation
Yearly salary, competitive and commensurate with experience
