About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Firmware Engineer to join our team at Trackonomy. As a key member of our early-stage team, you will be responsible for designing and developing firmware for our cutting-edge IoT devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop firmware for IoT devices using C and other relevant programming languages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware and software components
  • Develop and maintain high-quality firmware that meets performance, security, and reliability standards
  • Work closely with senior leaders to drive innovation and growth in the company
Requirements
  • At least 4+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on firmware engineering
  • Strong understanding of C programming language and experience with low-level hardware control
  • Experience with wireless communications modules, IoT technologies, and RF protocols
  • Excellent troubleshooting and prototyping skills, with the ability to work in a test-driven development environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IoT systems and wireless/wired communication protocols
  • Knowledge of cellular protocols and industrial electronics wireless devices
  • Experience working with cellular modems and low-power embedded devices
  • Knowledge of firmware development best practices, including proper testing, documentation, debugging, and code review
What We Offer
