The Impact You'll Make
  • Lead Continuous Improvement teams to improve safety, increase yields, and raise the bar for process capability on manufacturing equipment.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and test methods.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot defects and variation, perform root cause analysis, and apply systemic problem-solving skills and robust solutions.
  • Proactively communicate at all levels of the organization to drive direction and positive change.
  • Support a dynamic 24x7 operation through a willingness to be on-call.
Your Skills and Expertise

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3) years of process engineering experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Excellent mechanical and/or chemical aptitude and problem-solving skills; practical and hands-on, with analytical comprehension and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Analysis.
  • Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams from multiple locations and divisions.
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity and change.
Work Environment

This position is located in Cottage Grove, MN, and may require up to 5% travel. Relocation assistance may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

Benefits and Compensation
