About the Job

**Job Title:** Endocrinology Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at East Park Medical Center. As an Endocrinology Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and general endocrine disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients/families with acute, chronic, and/or potential health problems.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to both well and ill patients in an outpatient (85%) and inpatient setting (15%).
  • Participate in the daily functions of the Diabetes Management Service.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Master's or Doctorate's degree from an accredited Nursing Program (for Nurse Practitioners) or Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited PA Program (for Physician Assistants).
  • Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure.
  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.
  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active PA board certification.
  • All applicants must have* Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
