Job Title: Network Engineer

Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure.

Job Summary:

The Network Engineer will install, configure, and provide maintenance of LAN/WAN infrastructure, video conferencing, phone systems, and hardware infrastructure for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer networks including routers, switches, firewalls, access points, wireless controllers, and WAN links
  • Monitoring systems to improve performance and ensure network health
  • Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management
  • Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
  • Responsible for diagnosing and solving problems under time constraints
  • Implements the necessary controls and procedures to protect information system assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction
  • Assists in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices
  • Provides network documentation
  • Manages projects and maintenance tasks
  • Works closely with colleagues to meet team goals and improve processes and practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Related Field
  • 3+ years of Networking Experience in a multi-location environment
  • CCNA, other networking, and / or security certifications are preferred
