Job Summary

The Utility Worker is a vital member of our team at Darling Ingredients Inc., responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload and load raw materials and finished products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the plant and equipment, including washing and painting as necessary.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Ensure the steady flow of raw materials from trailers to the dock, checking and reporting on the condition of the load and truck interior.
  • Perform general labor tasks, including janitorial cleaning and vehicle washing.
  • Adhere to all company safety rules and regulations, prioritizing a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Able to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • A CDL "B" license with tanker endorsement is a plus.

Work Environment:

The Utility Worker will work in a fast-paced industrial environment, exposed to varying temperatures and conditions.
