About the Role

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our care staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, personal, and emotional well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for residents, working closely with the Director of Nursing and care staff teams.
  • Provide direction and oversight to care staff regarding resident needs, based on assessments performed.
  • Communicate effectively with community staff, residents, and family members regarding care and well-being.
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments, training, and education for staff, residents, and family members.
  • Meet all physical demands of the job, including lifting/moving up to 50lbs independently and up to 200lbs with assistance.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and current state license.
  • 1+ years of nursing experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements with no restrictions, and available for weekend rotations.
  • Working knowledge of treating and assisting seniors with dementia.
  • Ability to provide necessary care to residents within state and federal guidelines.
