The Financial Management Analyst will play a crucial role in assessing and interpreting financial data and systems to enhance financial outcomes and operational effectiveness. This position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to gather essential requirements, develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts, and deliver insightful financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing detailed financial analysis and generating reports to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Assessing and refining financial processes and internal controls.
  • Drafting budgets, financial statements, and a variety of financial documentation.
  • Creating and executing financial models and projections.
  • Spotting and proposing opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Working alongside cross-departmental teams to facilitate financial planning and analysis.
  • Offering financial insights and recommendations to various stakeholders.
  • Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and organizational policies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), ADVANA, and/or Jupiter systems is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial analysis or similar roles.
  • Possession of an active SECRET Clearance.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a knack for interpreting complex financial information.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Management Regulations (FMR).
  • Proficient in standard office software applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Adobe, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Asset Management and Plant, Property, and Equipment Management.
