Job Summary:
The Obstetrical Care Provider is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure patient-centered care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in obstetrical care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Active CA license and BLS certification.
- Fetal monitoring certification and ACLS preferred.
