POSITION SUMMARY:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential support in various medical services. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the collection of specimens, performing routine laboratory analyses, and facilitating administrative tasks such as managing patient flow and scheduling appointments.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Eligibility to take the certification exam with completion of certification or registration through one of the approved agencies for Medical Assistants within 90 days of hire; OR
Active certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from an approved agency is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program is preferred.
Previous experience in an outpatient setting is advantageous.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong communication skills.
Compassionate interaction with patients.
Reliable transportation for travel between clinic locations.
Ability to work collaboratively across various departments and handle diverse tasks.
