Key Responsibilities:- Patient Triage: Conduct thorough assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and observational examinations.
- Assist with Patient Exams: Support providers with exams, testing, and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Blood Draw and Phlebotomy: Safely collect and process blood samples, maintaining aseptic technique and adhering to protocols.
- Airway Management: Administer oxygen, nebulizer treatments, and oral suctioning as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Cardiac Management: Apply 12-lead ECGs, perform CPR, and defibrillate using AEDs, responding to cardiac emergencies with precision and care.
- Medication Administration: Dispense immunizations and medications according to the CMD Registered Nurse scope of practice, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Patient Communication: Respond to patient inquiries, report test results, and facilitate medication/therapy changes, fostering open and empathetic communication.
- Prescription Management: Assist with calling in prescriptions to patient-designated pharmacies, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Licensed LPN with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification (or American Red Cross BLS Certification) is preferred.
- Experience with IV placement and monitoring is essential.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
