Job Summary:
Empire Merchants North is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Coxsackie, NY. As a key member of our Finance department, you will play a vital role in processing and analyzing Accounts Payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payment to our vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process and analyze AP transactions, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Manage Trade vendor EFT schedules and ensure accurate and timely payment.
• Prioritize invoices based on cash discount potential and payment terms.
• Perform 3-way matching for Trade vendor invoices and prepare check requests.
• Maintain accurate files and documentation using scanning software and adhere to company policies and accounting best practices.
• Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Collaborate with auditors as needed and contribute to other projects as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
