About the Role

Motion Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Director of Managed Detection and Response to join our client's team in Dallas, TX or San Jose, CA. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic vision for MDR services, leading and mentoring a team of consulting analysts, and collaborating with clients to tailor MDR services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for MDR services, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of consulting analysts, fostering collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with clients to tailor MDR services, lead incident response efforts, enhance SOC capabilities, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement performance management and optimization initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing MDR services.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and hiring a team.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Experience leading IR and SOC functions.
  • Deep understanding of MDR services, including industry standards and regulatory requirements.
