**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Machinery Mechanic with a secret clearance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of marine machinery and equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work in a secure environment.

**Estimated Salary:** $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Marine Machinery Mechanic with a secret clearance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of marine machinery and equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work in a secure environment.

**Responsibilities:**

  1. Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of marine machinery, including engines, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance of marine equipment.
  3. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions.
  4. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to perform accurate repairs.
  5. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
  6. Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in marine mechanics preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine machinery maintenance and repair.
  • Active secret clearance is required.
  • Strong knowledge of marine engines, hydraulic systems, and related equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
