Job Summary

Sun River Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Representative/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Amityville, NY. As a key member of our medical care team, this individual will be responsible for providing exceptional patient-centered care and facilitating access to services in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily reception activities, ensuring all processes needed for patient services are initiated.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and patients regarding all aspects of service.
  • Responsible for telephone and mail contact with patients, scheduling appointments, fee collection, and explanation of services and charges.
  • Distribute materials to patients, including patient satisfaction cards, patient rights, and other relevant materials.
  • Verify all insurance and set fees based on the sliding scale fee.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED
  • 2-4 years of work-related experience
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish (orally and written)
Benefits:
  • Full-time position
  • $20.00 per hour
