Job Summary: Patient Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Patient Service Specialist at RCO Management INC. This is a full-time position located in Brunswick, GA.

Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $52,000 per year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing patient records, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient service, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Manage patient records, including demographic and insurance information.
  • Verify and update patient information.
  • Collect payment from patients, including copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and past due balances.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • At least one year of experience in a medical office environment as a receptionist with knowledge of EMR, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
