Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare month-end financial reports accurately and promptly, with an emphasis on inventory and sales analysis.
2. Oversee the Standard Costing framework and enhance standard labor metrics and expenses.
3. Analyze and report on critical factors influencing sales, gross profit, and cost efficiency, providing valuable insights.
4. Conduct monthly overhead expenditure analysis, comparing actuals against budget and forecasts.
5. Assist in the formulation of the annual budget and quarterly projections.
6. Collaborate with Operations and Commercial teams to identify and implement strategies that minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should hold a professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) and possess management accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing domain. Proven experience in managing product costing systems and a deep understanding of manufacturing variances and inventory management are essential. Familiarity with ERP systems and continuous improvement methodologies is also advantageous.
