Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure back-end systems using Go.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and software teams to gather system requirements and develop software solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • 4+ years of experience working with Go.
  • Experience with database systems and relations (primarily PostgreSQL & MongoDB).
  • Experience with designing and architecting software systems.
  • Experience with secure coding practices and data protection.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with building APIs.
  • Experience with various Amazon Web Services (such as S3, EC2, and RDS).
  • Experience with GIS (not required).
  • Experience with Python (not required).
  • Experience with the ArcGIS Python API (not required).

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Web Development or Software Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university (preferred).

Certifications/Licenses Required:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Appropriate AWS certifications/training for services such as S3, EC2, and RDS.
  • Certifications/training in Go.
  • Certifications/training in PostgreSQL.
