Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at the Ohia Waikiki Hotel in Honolulu, HI. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our public areas, including corridors, elevators, and service areas. Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all public areas, including corridors, elevators, and service areas, to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Remove soiled linen, terry, and trash from service areas and take to the appropriate locations.
  • Aid section housekeepers as needed, including bed boards and roll-ways.
  • Report any missing or found articles, damage, or merchandise problems to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, managers, and fellow associates in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate with Senior Housekeeper on work priorities and provide assistance when needed.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of previous housekeeping experience in a hospitality or fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
