ROLE SUMMARY

The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all BBS registered personnel and student interns, providing both individual and group supervision, establishing clinical assessment protocols, facilitating in-service training, and offering clinical consultation. This role will involve collaboration with educational institutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct weekly individual and/or group clinical supervision for BBS registered staff and interns, as well as other assigned personnel.
  • Develop clinical assessment guidelines and conduct reviews of clinical assessment skills.
  • Engage with schools, participate in necessary training, and maintain effective communication and reporting.
  • Deliver in-service training and ensure that client clinical needs are adequately addressed.
  • Review documentation by staff for completeness and adherence to care standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation as required by contractual obligations, meeting minimum billable requirements for direct client services.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding client care.
  • Participate in scheduled program meetings.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree and a current CA BBS license (MFT, LCSW, LPCC) are mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience post-licensing is required.
  • A valid CA driver's license and current auto insurance are required as per contract specifications.
  • Experience in providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services is preferred.
  • Understanding of cultural competency is essential.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and EHR software is advantageous.
